Over 1.5 exchange betting

A great strategy for Over 1.5 exchange betting. Classic Over/Under bets are always based on 2.5 goals. Well, this strategy is based on Over 1.5 goals, which is a far more secure way to place bets as ordinary Over 2.5.

 

And what is this strategy about?

 

As the name says - we'll bet on football -  on a number of goals.

 

Under 1.5 means, we'd expect 0 or 1 goals,

Over 1.5 means, we need to see at least 2 goals in the match.

 

This is why bookmakers add 0.5 to the number. In case we see only 1 goal, where does it belong to? Is it Under 1 or over 1? With +0.5, we know clearly, one goal is under 1.5.

Bets are never placed before the match, only on Live In-play games.

The odds tend to raise fast. On average, before the game, the odds for Over 1.5 are 1.30 or more. Not enough to make a decent profit. Let the game begin and simply observe. Each minute without a goal, raises the odds.

 

After 15 minutes, you can expect odds about 1.45. In 30 minutes about 1.70 and if the first half doesn't produce any goals at all - the odds will be 2.0 or over!

 

This is what we need and that's when we'll place our bet. If you want, you can place a bet in the 40. minute of the first half or during the half-time. The sooner you place, the lower your profit will be.

 

Once the goal is scored, the odds will drop, usually back to 1.5 and making a perfect position to trade the bet. This is possible on exchange only! Of course, the time of the first goal also determines how much you'll win. In an ideal position, the first goal will be scored between 46th and 55th minute. And it happens a lot!

 

Remember - don't place any bets in the first 30 minutes of the game. After that, check the odds and bet on Over 1.5!

Check the statistics. If the last five or six matches have producer over 2.5 goals for both teams or at least the home team, bet on it. Bet whenever you think you're ready, it could be 10th or 30th minute. Take the odds at 1.50 or over!

 

But what happens if the teams are fast and the first goal is scored in the first 10 minutes? This strategy is not suitable anymore. Instead of that, check the statistics for the team. Maybe it's just a lucky shot and bet on Under 1.5! The odds at that point must be at least 10!! If you play on Betfair, wait and hope for another 30 minutes without goals. You'll be able to sell your bet with a nice profit again! Of course, you don't need to sell, but the risk is higher.

All games have made us a great deal of profit! Only two out of ten were losers - Sassuolo - Ancona (-16€ - one goal - and it was too late in the match) and Recreativo de Huelva - Osasuna, where we placed the bet in 47th minute 16€ @ 3 (odds), but the first goal came in the 87th minute. Too late to trade. All in one minus 32€, everything else was our profit.

As you can see, first we bet on Over 1.5 at 1.55 and once again at 2.5, and both goals were scored in the last three minutes! +74.18€!

 

A great universal strategy. The only downside is - you'll have to watch the games or at least keep a track of livescore and you'll need a lot of time to do that. But in the end - it's worth it!
